We understand that you may not know precisely when the old servers will be ready. However, we are curious if there is any knowledge on a general time-scale for preparations. Is old-server access expected by the end of the week? End of December? End of January? Alternatively, can you explain. Generally, of course what the problems are. Are they finishing touches, or are they major compatability issues? Or is this all truly unknown, and you have no idea whether it will be ready tomorrow, or in two months.
We are perfectly happy with any rough guesses, our main complaint about the delay is that there has been no word on how serious the problems causing the delay is, and that we have no idea if this is something that will be resolved shortly, or if it will take a long while. Say you have 7/5 characters 7 being how many you have 5 being the maximum. You are allowed this situation because of the way the servers are being done at the moment or a heroic character, anyway you have 7 characters out of a possible 5.
Nothing happens to those 2 over the top characters unless you choose to delete them. If you delete say 3 of your characters after the servers are situated that brings you to 4/5. You will be able to create 1 more character bringing you to 5/5 but you will not be able to go to 6/5 because they are no longer allowing you to overfill your character list. So as long as you do not delete the extra characters they will be there but if you delete them you will not be able to make a 6th or more character.
